Internet  phone services  and  the difference is  when you  got no internet
and  or  cables  outage  or  no electric, You got no  phone services 
You  better off  going  with  a Cable  companies  phone service  least  you
will  have  battery  back  up  for  some hours  before you lose dial  tone
