Oh airG Chat, ‘the world's best mobile social experience’. So you’re fed up with ‘connecting with locals near you’ and ‘discovering new people from around the world’? I don’t blame you, I lasted 10 minutes before I wanted to get the hell out of there, but seeing that it is on your mobile there is nowhere to get out of! All a bit Catch 22?!
Quite frankly I don’t think you can. You are either in airG or you are not. If there’s nothing in account settings then the only way you are not going to be on it is to turn off your Wi-Fi or internet connection on your phone.
When you reconnect afterwards, the first and foremost thing to do is to make sure that the ‘Keep Me Logged’ in button is unchecked.
If that doesn’t work then you should think about employing some blocking software, Chat Blocker is good and widely respected but you have to pay for it and no one likes paying for software right?
To be honest if I was you I’d simply remove the software from your phone by uninstalling it. That’s the only way to rid it from your phone.
But if you want to keep in the airG universe but be able to walk away from it, it may be worth just accessing it through your computer. If so, you will need to use Firefox and you will also need a couple of plug-ins, namely XHTML Mobile Profile and the Preferences Menu plug-ins. If you’ve got all of them, then select Preferences > Spoof As > Keep Out, and enter ’Msnmobile.airg.ca’ as the address.
