AirG chat is normally used via your mobile phone, but sometimes if you have a slow data connection or an older slower phone, you may want to log in to your AirG account via a normal computer.  Normally if you log in via a browser, you have to pay a premium to use the service via a computer, so by using the first way, it is free!

All you need is the very latest FireFox browser on your machine to do it.  It doesn’t cost anything to install.

You then need to download some additional files and tweak the preferences a little then you're ready to go.  Here's a step-by-step guide to how you login into your AirG account on a normal computer.

Download the latest FireFox on your computer.  If you have an older version, make sure you check on www.firefox.com for the very latest version.  You need to install a FireFox Add-On - go to Tools menu then click on 'Add On'.

You will then be presented with the Add On's manager. Click on 'Get Add Ons' button on the left hand side.

Do a search for ‘User Agent Switcher 0.7.2’.

Click on 'Install' at the bottom of the page, accept the terms and wait for it to install.

Restart FireFox.

Once installed and restarted, go up to your Tools menu again.

You'll now see the Default User selection in the menu.

Go to the tab and change the profile to iPhone 3.0.

Go to msnmobile.airg.ca and sign in as normal and you're ready to chat!

AirG can be a great way to chat to people for free.

It’s very easy to install and can be used by mobile phones when you’re on the go, or at home on the computer.
