The Bug Catching Contest is only held on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. If you want to enter, you have to go to the building at the south entrance of the National Park. Inside, there are three doors. The southern most door leads to Route 35, the northwest door leads to the Pokeathlon Dome, and the northeast door leads back into the National Park. There is a desk inside the building. Talk to the person at the desk who is nearest to the northeast door, and if it is a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday, he will ask you if you want to take part in the Bug Catching Contest.
