The radio tower is in lavender town. Go in the tower (sorry if I repeated this) talk to an old guy in a brown hat. He upgrades the radio thingy in your pokegear. Go to a snorlax and go to the radio app on your pokegear. Drag the small circle thing to the top. It should say poke flute. Once you hear a different tune hit the back button. Once you see your person again, hit a beside the snorlax and you should battle it. Good luck. Hope this helped.
- You need the Radio Card from the boss guy in the radio station in Celadon City. - Go the PokeGear and go to the radio stations. - The dot should be moved all the way to the top. The title should say PokeFlute. - Talk to the Snorlax and battle and capture/beat it. - You can go to Diglett's Cave. Have a Pokemon that knows Cut. You're going to need it.
You have to go to the power plant near Cerulean City talk to the guy in the building then go to the Gym in Cerulean City a team Rocket member then go to the bridge and battle him then go to to the Gym and in the back of the Gym and press A by the tubes (In the back).Now go to the power plant give the guy the part then go to the radio tower and talk to the a guy and he will up grade your POKeGEAR now go to the Snorlax and go to the radio in your POKeGEAR to the radio and go to the top when selecting a station and it will say poke flute and the Snorlax will wake up and challenge you to a battle I recomend you catch it, it may take a few try's to get him. There you go!

You need to battle it by accessing the radio and moving the frequency to the top (pokeflute channel) then talk to it to face a lv 50 snorlax holding leftovers. Heavy balls work great.
The problem comes from people not explaining properly. Do this: Defeat Misty. After getting the badge from here, move to the left and down to the red and white rings beneath the umbrella. Use the Dowsing Machine to find the Machine Part. Take this machine part to the Power Plant west and south of Cerulean. Turn in the Machine Part. From there go to the Radio Tower in Vermillion City. Talk to the guy in the brown suit against the back wall. He will give you the expansion card to pick up the other stations. After doing this, head east out of town to Diglett's Cave. You will see the Snorlax sleeping in front of the entrance. Open your Pokegear. Click the radio button. Now, on the screen use your stylus to navigate to the second row on the sphere, and then, just to the left of the center horizontal line. When you navigate to that square you will see the channel change to "Poke Flute". Now all you need to do is save and hit "A" in front of Snorlax. It will wake and be prepared for the battle. Go to the radio tower in kanto and talk to the guy with the brown hat and then go to the place where snorlax then go to the radio channel on you poke gear and go to the top button and then there is the poke flute thing to wake snorlax then you have to battle him so be prepared.
You go help people in power plant radio station in lavender town would work again owner will update your radio use stylus and move the station on the radio(dot) too the very top on the longitude line pokemon flute shall play stand next to snorlax with pokeflute playing talk to him he wakes up battle him he is on lv50 and is holding leftovers I have soulsilver but works either way catch him and make him hold a full incense while breeding him with ditto to get a cute munchlax
After you beat the elite 4 you have to go o lavanger town and go to where the pokemon cemetary was in the old games (the big tower) then you go in and you see a man and you talk to him and he will give you the poke flute channel on your pokenave then go to where the snorlax is and play the music then talk to the snorlax then you will battle him and after that he will move depending on if you catch him or not I caught him.
I did all that and I got the upgrade from the guy in the brown hat but when I went to the snorlax and switched the radio on I got Pokemon Music not the flute channel, I really want to move on but I don't know how to can someone please help!! Because I'm confused about this too!
You need to get to the radio tower in lavender town speak to an old guy an get the poke flute then go to the snorlax get out your radio in the poke gear and find the red flute channel come off the poke gear talk to the snorlax and battle it
You need the poke flute from lavender town. And then the snorlax will be near cerulean city and then use the poke flute from your poke gear. And then talk to it and then he will wake up and you get to face it at level 50. Now the moves are rollout and giga impact thats all the moves I know that snorlax knows. Also you can do this in pokemon soul silver too. It will be at the same level. Oh and note that in case if that one faints, there is also another snorlax beside celadon city. But I havent caught one yet, but good luck catching one.
Use the Poke gear radio. You know that dot you use to change radio stations? Move it all the way to the top. Keep moving it till you see Pokemon Flute or something like that.
