I called Kyocera who makes this phone they actually offered 2 options:
1) Reset the whole phone to factory fresh state.
2) Send a lot more texts to hide the important numbers.
What I did was find a spammail domain name, made up a bunch of contacts with fake email addresses and then sent an email sms to all of them with something like just a letter A. If you are really desperate you could try this too. I have not recieved any junkmail to my sms inbox from doing that because I picked obscure email names.
