It seems that ,might have a problem from the tuner to the video selector section of your TV.

If your TV have a video out, then try to connect it to another TV " video in " input and monitor

if the symptoms still arise. If the video is the same on another TV , the video selector is OK

your problem lies after the video selector to the video IF circuits to the tuner.

I have aproblem with the Picture in Picture. The picture on the main screen works occasionally. I have to watch TV in the screen with the 2 pictures with only on side working. What could be the problem?

My picture started jumping around and sometimes going to a bright rainbow line across the middle of the screen. Once it warmed up it was fine. I opened it up and pushed downward on each component on the board until the picture stabilized. It does it about once a year now. I fix it the same way.
