You usually could get the configuration of your computer by going to (assuming you have windows) "My Computer" and seeing the elements shown in the window. Another is to go to "Control Panel" and look for the Hardware Device Manager which will show you every piece of hardware connected to the computer. Sometimes I have trouble finding that without going first to the icon that says "Install or Remove Hardware" and I don't either install or remove hardware but I look for where it gives the option to look at existing hardware on the system. The existing hardware on the system is what is called your latest hardware configuration. Sometimes you could go to your Word program and click the About tab and use the option "System Information" and it will also give you all the information you are looking for. There are about sixteen dozen ways to get the information. But none of them have a big sign saying, "look here!"
