When My Mitsubishi TV Is Warmed Up, The Picture Is Smaller Than The Screen And It Is Somewhat Distorted. Even After The Tv Warms Up, The Picture Does Not Extend To The Side Edges Of The TV As It Used To. What's Wrong?

Hi! Is this T.V an old T.V? I am no T.V expert, but what you have described is really similar to what happened to our Toshiba television! The picture on the screen, gradually became smaller and smaller and also the colour became distorted no matter how long we waited for after turning it on.

To solve the problem we just decided to buy a new one, as the tv was about 10 years old. So, maybe you could call round an expert, but possibly the only solution is to buy a new one, especially if your tv is quite old and has been in use a lot!
Good luck with what you decide!

Nipsu pretty much told you the deal. I have a really old Mitsubitchi and the picture is getting darker and darker. The brightness control does not lighten it. A repairman told me that as the "tubes" get older they start to decay which affects the picture in several different ways. For me it is getting darker. For you it is getting smaller. I say, as long as it is visible enough to view your favorite shows then just hang in there with it's idiocyncricies. Technology is changing everyday and the cost of the Plasma and Liquid Crystal sets are getting more reasonable by the day. There will be some great after Christmas sales this year.
