Slim Ps2, The Red Power Button On, Then You Push The Red Button To Turn On , The Light Should Go Green, Mine Does Nothing, Light Stays Red, What's The Problem?

1. Are you pressing AND holding the button? Don't forget you have to hold it down a second.
2. Are the red, white, and yellow cords plugged into your tv?
3. Is that one cord plugged into both an outlet AND the ps2?
