How Do I Unlock My Cricket Security Code?

There are times when you may have forgotten your cricket security pin and you are locked out of your phone. In order to unlock the security code, you may need to contact your network provider to ask them for a new PUK number. If you have already tried to enter the wrong security code three times, this is how you get locked out of your phone.

Get in touch with your network provider and explain to them what has happened. In order to establish that you have not stolen somebody’s phone, you may be asked some security questions first. If you pass the security test you will then be issued with a new PUK code that will enable you to gain access to your phone again.

A PUK code pin is unique to every single phone and that is why it is always advisable to simply contact the network provider to have a new code issued. On the other hand, if you still have the box your phone came in, you pay be able to locate the PUK and default pin on the side of the box.

I changed my # and after dialing *228 yes it reprogrammed and restarted my phone now I don't know my code because I don't know my phone number!
