You can't change the Wii's language from japanese to english do to the fact that the wii is locked to the region where it was purchased so if you purchased a wii from japan it will only have three dialects of japanese such as hiragana and katakana. It true for any where you purchase it it will only have the language of the region so for the US wii it has spanish french and english, Its the same for the games you can only play Japan games on a Japan Wii sorry to say it but your out of luck on this one.
