Place the mouse cursor at the beginning of the text that you want to "cut" or "copy", then click and hold the left mouse button, and drag it to the end of the text that you want to "cut" or "copy", and release the button--this will highlight the text. Then point the cursor inside the highlighted area, and right click--a context menu will appear. Left click "cut" or "copy", depending on which you want to do, then place the mouse cursor on the area where you wish to paste your selection, and right click. Point to "paste" on the context menu, and left click. This will paste the selection. Hope this helps.
