What Is Causing A Blue Streak On My T.v. Screen?

I have exactly the same problem after changing the lamp on my 50 in SONY LED projection TV (2007). My good guess is that the replacement lamp is not good quality as the original and the blue blurs are caused by the defect of the lamp.
