How Do You Get To New Moon Island On Pokemon Platinum?

The Wi-Fi Event to get the ticket to Newmoon Island is on RIGHT NOW in Australia, New Zealand, and North America.

To get the ticket, go to the TV Building in Jubilife City, go up a few floors until you see two NPCs standing side by side at the bottom of the room. Talk to them, and when he asks you to answer something, put "Everyone Happy" in the first one, and "WiFi Connection" in the second one.

Now save, and reset the DS. Go back into the game's title screen, and configure your Wifi Settings, Test the connection, and make sure it works. Now go back into the title screen, go to "Mystery Gift", which you just unlocked by following the above instructions, select "Wifi", and wait about 30 seconds. You will recieve a message telling you to pick up a parcel in any PokeMart.

Exit the Mystery Gift, and go back into the game. Go to any Pokemart, and talk to the man dressed in green. He will give you the Room Key to the old hotel in Canalave City. Once you go inside the hotel, go to sleep on the bed, and when you wake up, you'll be on Newmoon Island.

The event ends early September.

The only to get there is to activate Darkrai event.. There's a house at canalave which you can't get in, unless you activate it. You will have to sleep on the bed and you will be transported to New Moon Island.. There you will encounter a wild Darkrai.
