Lucky for you, there are ways for people to unlock pretty much every single type of phone nowadays, and because Samsungs are a pretty common make of phone you will probably have no problem in getting it unlocked.

If you live close to your town or city centre then try visiting your local market where they will have quite a number of stalls which will unlock your phone for you. These shops are easy to spot as they tend to sell phone covers, cases and chargers and they may also do phone repairs. Just take your phone to them and tell them that you want to get it unlocked and ask them for a price quote. If you are not really happy with the amount they will charge you, politely thank them and say you will consider it and then take it to another and ask them the same question until you find a price you are willing to pay. They will not usually charge you a lot for this service and it is really common and very easy to do. Sometimes they will unlock it for you whilst you wait, if not, then it will not take them more than a day so don't worry about them having to send it away.

Although it is not recommended that you unlock your phone on your own, as it requires special leads and software that unlocking companies will have. There is a method you can try but you will probably be more successful taking it to someone who knows what they are doing. Firstly, power on your Samsung Jet without its SIM card inserted. Type in #7465625*638*CODE# (where CODE is your Samsung unlock code).  Your phone will then display the message 'Network Lock Deactivated' and then it may restart itself or you may have to switch it off and then on again manually
