Do you mean A3 poster? A3 is too large for a flyer.

For a new file you can choose international paper in the presets, you can pick A3 size from there.

W: 29.7cm H: 42cm are A3 dimensions

Select File -> new

Select preset as international paper and size as A3.


Since you will be printing the flyer select color mode as CMYK
