How Do I Get Silent Mode Turned Off On My Samsung Cell Phone?
Hold down # until silent ode goes off and-says IT screen
Unlock it then hold the * key it will come back on!!!

I also have a Samsung cell and ran into the same problem. I ended up calling my cell phone provider customer service. This may not work for yours but it did for mine, so give it a try. The #-pound key, press and hold it. If it works a little message should pop up and say Exit Silent Mode. Good luck.
