First of all forgive me as I will explain my choice as if you know nothing about this subject, even though I'm sure you do. After trying many classes and races I went for a night elf druid as my main. It is a popular character for team raids and pvp play as it can tank as the bear, do some damage as the dps cat, or heal and cast as the night elf form. Not only that, it is useful to have a choice of character while playing solo, and the druid is effectively 3 characters (although not straight away, you need to level for the cat for instance) Not only that, you get to fly two levels earlier than other classes as the higher level flight form (looks like an eagle), and can swim indefinitely underwater as the (looks like) sea lion form. If you find you really don't like the druid then I would recommend the Paladin for the reasons Mosis gives, and then the Shamen. However for my playing style you can't beat the druid :D

I have been debating on either a rogue or a hunter.  Hybrid classes are way too much for noobies because of the many different scenario play styles.  A rogue is stealth and about 3 "oh shit" abilities that are not on too long cooldown, not to mention you can kill many things fast.  The hunter is easy mode.  I would totally recommend the hunter for a first character on a server.  It levels easy, you don't take damage and allows you, the noob, to understand aggro because if you pull it off your pet, you get hit.  There is not much spec difference that makes the class very easy for the noob.  Recommending hybrids to noobs is like mixing oil and water, it just isn't a good idea because the noob doesn't know how to play.  This is why there are so many crappy hybrid classes in WoW.  My math teacher a long time ago taught me one thing that stuck "K.I.S.S." = Keep It Simple Stupid, and the hunter is just that.

For a nub pally because you wont know how to fight or anything but you will know how to heal and auto pally don't really have attack spells kile that so pally hands down it will get complicated when it lvls and become the most classified class in the game but simple and easy for beginners

Well I would either pick the paladin or the warlock if you would like  to get a mount right away because they only cost 90 silver as apposed to about 40 gold

I'd suggest hunter ,shaman, pally because if your a druid you have to learn  three types of combat
its really hard coz you got several spells/hits on everyone of your morphs and night elf/tauren form...
Id really suggest hunter.

I have to say for beginners, a paladin is way easier. You can heal, you have plate, and can bubble if you get in trouble. Easier to stay alive and if you get in trouble just bubble and run. Not to mention no one is ever sad about having a paladin in their group, especially horde.

The easiest to start off with is a Warrior. The reason why is because the warrior is the toughest character to start with, meaning, you will level up quicker as it's easier to kill and harder for yourself to die. However, being the easiest has its disadvantages. For starters, it's not as exiciting as having a Priest with tonnes of spells or a Druid who can morph into several different types of animals. Secondly, warrior is a popular character, meaning if you want to stick out from the crowd later on in the game for Instances & PvP, you'll have to be very good.

I started with a Druid, tried a Warrior as well but got bored. My advice is forget easy, go for the interesting characters. Try a priest.

I disagree. Pick a shaman. Shamans are the best for survival at low levels. If they use a Stoneskin Totem, they will take almost no damage, and they can also heal themselves.

Shaman, hands down.

As a hunter because you aren't taking any damage 97% of the time I found it extremely boring... Really it depends on how you want to play. But for a first character I suggest a Hybrid, Such as a Paladin (tank, dps healer), Druid (tank, dps and heals) or even a priest (dps and amazing heals). This way you aren't in a position where you've chosen a hunter leveled him to 50 and realize you rather enjoy healing and then you're for lack of a better term "Screwed". Stick with a Hybrid and you won't be disappointed. :)
P.S. Shamans are rather fun as well! Nothing like a big A$$ Tauren Enhancement shaman coming at you!

I'm sorry, but yall r n00bs! Rogues are quite possibly the best damage dealers in the game and they can stealth to not be detected, they have combo/finishing moves that deal A LOT of damage and have sprint along with other rogue-specific talents that kill ALL other n00bs even when you are at a low level. My rogue is only lvl 12 (I discovered rogues a few days prior to my post) and I take on many lvl 20 druids/warriors/shamens and occasionally the paladin. If any of you want to prove that point ill be infront of the ogrimmar gate after school( 4:00-9:00) on the maygolos server. Until then SUCK IT
