The Google Play store seems to have a problem with users seeing a "no connection retry" message lately (I'll get to iOS in a second)
This could be down to two things on Play Store:
- Your internet connection
- You have incorrect "date & time" settings, which are confusing the Play Store
Take a look at this video to see what I mean:
If you're having problems connecting to the iOS app store, then incorrect time & date settings may also be an issue.
The following are also common issues that can affect connectivity:
- Invalid or unidentified serial number
- Your network preference settings are incorrect
You'll find info about each of these scenarios in more detail here: http://support.apple.com/en-gb/TS5202
You may also want to speak to someone from Apple's support team, in which case this page should help: https://www.apple.com/uk/support/ios/contact
Finally, whether you're having problems on iOS or Android, make sure you contact the right support number:
