Hewlett Packard, commonly known as HP, is indeed a Fortune 500 company.

However, although HP was once considered the biggest technology company a few years ago, the company has since been steadily losing some of its market value in more recent years.

And yet Hewlett Packard profits are still able to guarantee the company an place in the top 20 of the Fortune 500 (the five hundred most successful companies in the United States of America).

Hewlett Packards Fortunes

Despite what may be considered a "downturn", HP can still claim to be one of the world’s largest computer manufactures, with Forbes Magazine attributing more than $5,113 million worth of profit to the company.
