Nokia is a Finnish company specializing in communications technology. The company is largely known for they contribution to mobile technology, especially sturdy handheld phones... Ones that are much more sturdy than Apple's. In fact, there's a little joke that can found on the internet that goes something like this:
Drop an iPhone, the screen breaks
Drop an old Nokia phone, the floor breaks.
Actually, according to Nokia, they're responsible for the first handheld mobile, invented in 1987.
