Does Anyone Know Who Makes The Circuit City Brand SENS LCD TV's? I'm Looking At A Model S2201DVD But Haven't Ever Heard Of The Brand.

You must be talking about the one on Sale from Liquidators. $239.00  20% off
It is supposed to come with a 1 year Warranty.
I looked at it too.
Google it and you will see Pros and Cons of Sens Monitors.
Most people used it as a computer monitor. Many cons. Poor color, poor resolution etc. Hard to reach inputs, cheap.
And the fact that it has been two days and your question is unanswered is suspicious.
It might be a Samsung, but why buy something that you are not sure of,
unless you want something cheap to put in a kid's playroom. Or a cheap Monitor.

I just bought one a few days ago. The tv quality is okay/good but as a computer monitor --it is not impressive at all. It is definitely not clear  or sharp and I do feel like it was a mistake to buy it from Circuit City since I won't be able to do anything about it now.

I am in the same boat with the "Sens" TV/DVD player. It is a total lemon - doesn't work at all (the screen is just black all the time). I can't for the life of me figure out who actually manufactures this product but Circuit City was responsible for "handling" the warranty, and now they won't uphold their end of the bargain. In essence, stay away. Also, if anyone has had better luck than in solving the Sens caper, I would love to know, because I feel really duped at this point.

I bought one of these turkeys a couple of weeks ago. When I go to set it up as a TV, it will work OK for about an hour and then all I get is static. It appears to have something to do with EMI interference from everything. I've gotten it to work the best when I put an PCA cable from my cable box to the set, but it still only pasts about 90 minutes before going south! If anyone knows who for sure makes these please share it with the rest of us, because as we all know Circuit City will do nothing for us now!

We bought the S2201DVD model a couple months ago when Circuit City was closing. I would not buy another one. The channel numbers are so small on the screen you can't read them unless you're right in front of the TV. The buttons the remote are too hard to use in the dark. The channel numbers are weird also - some of them are three digits, a hyphen, and another three digits. It appears they are HD versions of some of the other channels although we don't have a converter box hooked up to it. One last thing -- sometimes we can't get the major network channels to come in but other cable channels are OK. It makes no sense and I haven't found an answer yet.

I believe it is made by Polaroid.

I also bought 2 to use as a monitor.  It worked for close to a year and now the HDMI or RCA jacks do not work.  We were all duped.

DO not buy this TV... I made them istake of buying it from Circuit City and of course it did not work. When I try to get the warranty info the number is for tech support 1-888-319-9464.. This is Circuit City.. And it just sends you around and around..

This is soooo true. I purchased not 1, not 2, but 3 of these tv's and it is money down the drain. I plan to file a written complaint with the attorney generals office. Not sure how far that will get since the company is belly up anyway.

I don't know who makes it but my daughter bought one the day after Christmas and it is now dead. It is manufactured through Circuit City, who, of course, are now going out of business. She took it to them but after confirming it didn't work, gave back to her and said there was nothing they can do. Also in trying to find out who made it and googling it, also ran into a couple of other people who said that their sets have also died after a couple of weeks watching them and are having no luck either in getting any help in getting them repaired. Bottom line: I would stay away from this brand.
