When I first saw the question "Refer to the exhibit. A network administrator configures a static route on router R1 to reach the 192.168.1.0/24 network. Which IP address should be used as the next-hop address in the ip route command?" I could have sworn I'd seen it before.
Then I realized exactly where...
This is a in fact a CCNA exam question, and the answer is actually as follows:
"It is the value assigned by the Dijkstra algorithm that designates the number of hops in the network.
It is the value used by the DUAL algorithm to determine the bandwidth for the link.
It is the metric, which is cost.
It is the administrative distance."
I only know because I searched for the answer on an exam answers website ccna4u.org - but I would recommend studying for your exmams in future yourself as you will emerge from your studies none the wiser otherwise.
If you are struggling for motivation, then try and enlist a study group or study partner. I did this, and believe me it helps to study in a group and encourage each other.
If not, the CCNA exam certificate you seek will be worthless as you will not be ready for the real world if unanble to cooperate with others..
