If you want to block those really annoying telemarketers, prank callers or weirdos that keep calling you on your Samsung TracFone the sad news is that you'll probably need to change phone number.
And even that might not effectively get rid of them forever!
I checked out the official website, and there's no 'block number' option:
"We regret to inform you that all Tracfone phones do not have the feature
to block phone numbers. To stop receiving unwanted calls or text
messages, you may have your phone number changed. However, changing your
phone number does not guarantee that you will no longer receive ..."
One thing I would suggest is putting your number on the Federal Do Not Call List by registering at fcc.gov
And if telemarketers are your main problem, I would suggest trying to approach the inconvenience in a more lighthearted way.
What I like to do is play a game with them.
I keep a score-sheet on my phone, and every time a telemarketer calls, I time how long it takes before he or she hangs up on me.
I do everything I possibly can to lose track of what they're supposed to be saying on their script. Maybe it sounds a bit sad, but it's usually super funny too!
