How Do I Convince My Mom Facebook Is Safe?

Ask her to join and become your friend on Facebook. Ask her to share some applications with you, just you and her. Remind her that as a friend, she can see everything. Eventually and hopefully, her interest will wane, but her trust will grow...

Just show her how it works....& if she still won't let you, then respect her wishes..she's just looking' out for you.   :)

Sorry to say that your moms right facebook isn't safe.

Just show her Facebook. And tell her see? They have noce people on it. Then show her the apps and maybe she will like FB and make one herself!

Tell her u will make it so only friends can c your pics. Only b friends with people u no in real life. Tell her u will give her yr username and password so she can get on your account and check out wat you've been doing.  If it still doesnt work dont nag her, ask again in a month or two. Or wait a year, doesnt matter.

Its impossible same issue ...no hope!!!!

  If she says it isn't safe then you have little choice in the matter. Like it or not she pays the bills and she decides what is best for you!

Facebook has privite pages so if people look your name up and click on you they will not ee any of your info unless you add them as a friend and you dont have to fill out all the given info the only that yiu have to is date and Name but you can make up a date or even a name and no one will even know its you Good Luck!

I struggle with the same issue-but sit down with your mom. Print out the Facebook Terms of Use, and ask your friends to give you some information on the ups and minor downs-of this website. If you sound mature and wanting, your mother WILL listen to you.
