You can either copy paste the picture onto your email or you can attach a file onto your mail if you saved your pic to your computer. If you haven't tried attaching photos, just click on "new" to make a new mail. After that, right next to the word send, there is the word attach and just click on that button. Agree to all the stuff if you haven't send any mail with an attach file and then browse through your computer to find your pic if and only if your picture is saved onto your computer, documents, or desktop.
