I spilled coke on the corner of my laptop, like the arrow keys and end button. The keys aren't sticky but the down arrow won't work? I cleaned it off, what do I do now?

Whenever you spill something on a laptop OR on anything with keys you remove the keys then clean it with a cotton swab. But since you already cleaned it let it dry for a few hours and if it still doesn't work replace it. Hope my answer helps, Good Luck!

Well I don't think self-repair can go anywhere. I mean, coke contains sugar and other ingredients. So if it was water that messed it up, that would just be temporary, if water isn't the only cause, then I would suggest waiting for at least a day(?) for it to dry and test it first, if it still messed up, then you could go to cmputer repair shops. Of course sadly, that would come with a price.

The coke has gotten inside where you can't see and making buttons stick so the keybooard needs to be taken apart and cleaned on the inside so you may want a professional to do it or it actually may be cheaper to just buy a new keyboard

Unless your talking about buying the keyboard component and replacing it within the laptop, which the questioner mentioned, buying a new PC keyboard wont be necessary although can be a temporary fix for home use.

I might have to get it fixed by a pro. I don't think I can buy a whole new keyboard because I am working on a laptop. Thanks!
