Sony Ericsson Vivaz Won't Start?

I had this phone less than a week and it's doing the same thing.
Thought it had just run out of battery but now can't get it to start at all.
Not happy at all.

Happened to me 2 but I have no idea what to do or how to fix it I tried taking out the battery multiple times. It charges but when I try to switch it on it just freezes with the sony ericsson text in the middle of the screen. And I've only bought this yesterday..

I got mine today, and its doing the same thing :( Waste of money!!

Just got this phone. After 5 days died when ran out of battery now wont recharge at all. Finally got some life after plugging into computer would say this is a serious fault with them all

Same thing.....I doesnt start wen out of charge..... I don't know what to do

Wow does this happen to everyone I was going to buy on by I guess I'm changing my mind now

The same thing has happened to mine. It's my second handset within a month as the original one kept on crashing, I took it in for an exchange and now it has completely frozen.  I read on another site about downloading update software that may help, it did for the 2 people who had posted, but not me..... Maybe one of you will have some luck.  All I want to do is save the stuff I have stored on the phone memory and then go and demand a different phone completely!!! I just don't know which one :(

The phone is usless but to get past the problem with it not turning on, you have to leave it charging for about 30 minutes.  If you try to turn it on before this it doesn't seem to have enough power to go through the start up and jams.  It had the potential to be a great phone but with so many little problems, I'm tempted to dig out the old Nokia 3310 and use it just as a phone!!!  Hope this solves your problems.

Yes m8 your not the only one! Ive had mine a day now and I'm having the same issues and also random crashes.its a propa swine to start up. I know from being a fone modder that sometimes the extras networks add to sonys original firmware can cause these problems. I'm going to look up to see if I can de-brand mine as I'm sure the orange software isn't helping. Don't know how far id get tho given its a new fone,

Take it to the nearest service center and they will fix the problem!

Same problem. Had it 10 days and now just freezes on sony ericsson text. Couldn't get it to switch on at all for 2 days or even charge. It is now charging but nothing else.
