There is a cheat to find a shiny Rayquaza. But, you have to follow these directions exactly. 1. Go to the kanto region in Pallet town, and talk to Oak, after you have beaten the game. Including the Elite Four. He will talk to you about completing the National Dex. You don't have to have completed the national dex, though. 2. Go to the Viridian Forrest. You may go somewhere else, but you must have a Starly. 3. Teach the Starly any 1 HM. Make sure it is 1 HM. 4. Once you have taught the Starly an HM, go back to were you got that HM from. For example: If you taught it fly, go to where you taught it fly from. Which is, at the gym. 5. This step is tricky. If you mess up, you must start over. If it doesn't work, go back and repeat the steps, except this time with a different HM. Go to the Whirl Islands. After you have caught the Lugia, by the way, this is only for heart gold, go back to where you caught the Lugia. Take 4 steps forward. 5 steps back. Then fly WITHOUT the Starly using it (if you taught it fly) and fly to Goldenrod city. 5. There, at GoldenRod, use the old rod anywhere you think is nessesary, and catch the Magikarp. The Magikarp WILL have an item, if you did all of the steps correctly. If not, do the steps over again. The Item is the Ancient Feather. Fly with any pokemon (it's okay if you use the Starly, to fly this time) to the Lake of Rage. There, in the middle of the Lake of Rage, use the Ancient Feather. 6. If you don't have that Starly in you're party, then this will not work. Use the Starly's HM that it has taught, and it will use it right in the water. Then, Right then and there, you USE THE ANCIENT FEATHER IN THE WATER! BUT make SURE that you have used the HM first. If not, you must start over, again. Doing the same steps. If the HM is fly, then fly to the Lake of Rage. 7. Once you have used the Ancient Feather, use the super rod. When you pull out a Pokemon, it should be a Rayquaza! It's at level 100, and it's shiny, and it's really wierd. It knows moves that it shouldn't know. It knows: Roar of Time, Sky Judgement, Luster Purge, and Fissure. Use an X Accuracy, and it will be unstoppable with the fissure. But if not, then use the other moves. I hope this helped! Enjoy! ^.^
The shiny infernape glitch does not work.
Here is a doozy. (Spoilers ahead)
During the gym fight with Blue, I attacked his Exeggutor with flamethrower (using Houndoom at the time). It barely survived and activated Trick Room. I used flamethrower again, but he had a Full Restore. I finished it off the next turn with Pursuit as Blue attempted to switch.
I was feeling pretty proud and all was going well until Rhydon came in and it began to Hail. Both my POKeMON and his began damaging themselves with their own abilities somehow and the game randomly cycled through all possible weather effects. This went on for the rest of the match; Rain replacing the shining sun, fog following heavy gravity. And my Ampharos succumbed to Static. All in all, it was very bizarre.
Unfortunately, excessive critical hits also seemed to be part of the glitch.... Unless I was merely unlucky after being hit by three in a row and losing to them. Sigh.

I noticed a glitch of the touch screen that happens on super effective hits usually when I was fighting golbat in victory road level 32 but when I tapped the screen in a hurry wanting to end the fight quickly and the hit finished and fainted the golbat suddenly the xp of my pokemon "Ampharos" started rising extremely quick from level 28 all the way to level 79 it was strange but I think it was something wrong with my touch screen but I'm not complaining
I found a Ryhorn with the move Fly? Also a Lapras with dig....
At blue's house, if you walk through the wii with action replay, and press A it will say theres a tv here
The only glitch I know of...
I was training my Togepi against an Onix and Togepi used metronome, which became transform. Togepi was the onix with its moves, and I finished the battle. I got into another fight with an onix and the moves were stuck from the battle before. I have a Togetic now that know Rage, Bind, Screech and Rock Throw.

How do you make the infernape glitch?
In the mt moon you only can do 2 steps
In the mt moon you only can do 2 steps
I know of one glitch in Pokemon HeartGold. It's completley useless, but I'll tell you anyway. After you get to Kanto, go over to Lavender Town. Take the north exit out of town. Now here's the glitch. If you hop over the ledge, you'll end up back in Lavender. You hear a ping noise. Now, just before you jump over the ledge, get your PokeGear out and tune into any radio station- it dosen't matter which. Exit the menu after tuning in, so the music is still playing. Now, with the music from the radio playing, hop over the ledge into Lavender Town. The noise that sounds when you hop over the ledge will be slightly different than usual.
Yes,there was a shiny infernape at mt silver in my heart gold
Yes, I found one where I talked to my pokemon and the game yelled out:
IMMA FIRIN MA LAZAAAAR!!!
And I was scared and turned of the ds.

Well I don't know my friend he went to fish in black thorn city behind the gym and caught a manaphy and then when he was going to beat the elite four he wanted hyper potions and the guy who delivers gifts said theres no more gifts and found where the hyper potions are tickets to hoenn and kanto but you can't buy more after you buy them I have no idea how this happend.
My game glitched... And now I can't move past the mahogany gym! Does anyone know how to fix this??? Because I don't want to start my game over
There is a glitch to fight a shiny infernape. First, you go to mount moon. Take three steps forwars. Then go out of it. Take 15 steps out of it or, until you run into a wall. Go to the nearest P.C. Box, then release any pokemon. (It doesn't matter which pokemon). Go to goldenrod city, and go into the Pokemart in there. When you talk to the person at the counter, they will mention something about a fire monkey. Go, and then fight the elite four, and when you fight the champion, you will notice that they will have a level 50 infernape. After you win, you end up back at your house. Your mother will talk to you about Proffessor Elm wanting to see you. When he talks to you, he will tell you that there is a golden Pokemon. Go to Pallet town. There, you will talk to Professor Oak, and you will have a shiny infernape!
Mine keeps crashing:(
Not that I know of. Nintendo has improved their tech since gold and silver.
