Tech Deck Live is an incredibly innovative website that invites skating fans to join a virtual, interactive skate park. The website though, seems to have been somewhat abandoned since the middle of 2009, which has left eager fans and avid registrants confused about the goings on of the site, as developments seem to have come to a standstill.
When you launch the Tech Deck Live home page, you'll be greeted by a flashy, interactive space with a number of links running along the top and you'll find that you are unable to click any of them except the 'Forum'. This means the links 'News', 'All Access Pass' and 'Help' are all dead links and are not live to be clicked upon.
Tech Deck Live was started by a company named 'Spin Master' and upon locating the Tech Deck Live blog/news page, you'll see that the folk over at Spin Master last updated with news on its launch on July 31st in the year of 2009. In the post, the company stated they were very excited and gearing up for a launch they hoped would take place in the coming summer months. Since then though, nothing more has been said, and the website grants you access to nothing other than the Forum, where fans of 'Finger Boarding' now chat about their hobby.
By taking all of these facts into account, it's clear that Tech Deck Live never managed to get off the ground, and this means you're unable to sign up for the website to enjoy its services. The promising thing is that the Tech Deck Live website is still up and running and there has been no official announcement of the closure of the project. This means Spin Master could surprise us all in the near future by launching this fantastic idea.
