I just got off of the phone with my cousin as he was calling with Magic Jack. It was great, and yes he did pay the $40 for the USB device and it is just $19.95 a year from here on out. He mentioned that as he was setting things up, there was the option to pay in advance for a 5 year period. If you consider this option do the math first and make sure it saves you money. At the very least, if you take the 5 year option prepaid you rate is locked in in the event the rates go up.
I Need Information On Majik Jack...you Are Supposed To Be Able To Plug The Jack Into Computer, Then Into Your Phone And Get Free Calls... Is The Cost Of It $39?

This is true 39.00 fro the magic jack ---plug it into computer--then telephone . I have had mine for over a year --- you get your own telephone number--- but you have to have the computer on for it to work. You have to be on the internet too. You can get it wall mart too.
Si mon amie veut changer le numéro de téléphone est-ce possible
I know radio shack and Best buy carry this product, but is there any other stores to purchase this at
I have one, it works ok. If you don't mind many dropped calls and poor quality, it's worth the $40 investment and $20/year. I would not buy it again if I knew about the issues upfront.
There is no such device like that which could get you free calls over your computer. Its more likely a scam. However, there are cheap VOIP services that can get you cheap phone calls through your PC. For example net2phone is one such software.
I have my magic jack installed I also received a new # it will come up on the computer that I have a incoming call, but when I pick up the phone on one is there, also when I pick up my phone and dial some one else I get them but my same home # shows up not the new #. What have I done wrong?
