The short answer is no.
- Before you can access any of Facebook you must sign up. If you aren't already a member, you will only be able to access to homepage screen asking you to sign up or sign in.
- Signing up is easy. Simply click on the sign up tab, and you will be asked for several details, such as your name, birthday, gender and, optionally, your mobile number and email address. These can be altered once you have your account set up if needs be.
- When you have your account, you can then type the name of the person you are looking for in the search bar at the top of the Facebook bar. A list will then drop down with everybody on Facebook who has that name. You can then identify the person that you are looking for by the photos that users have. When you see the person that you want to look at, click on their name. Some people's profiles are open to be seen by everyone, whilst some people have set their account so that only friends can view their profile.
- If this is the case, then you will need to add the person as a friend. There should be a rectangular tab next to their name, that says 'add as friend'. Click this, and they will be sent a friend request from you. You will receive a notification when they accept your request, and you should then be able to view their profile.
- Make sure you stay safe online. Don't accept anybody that you do not know, and don't add random people. Make sure that you dont write any personal details on here either, such as credit card details or any passwords for accounts, as there are a lot of fraudsters out there.
