I doesnt ever let you I got to the place where the rocks are and then it says: "Huff Puff" says your character "You lost him!" says the screen "I guess you have to try again tommorow night." says the screen. HATE IT!
There is a simple way to do this you can try again and again and try to memorise at which spots in particular the thief turns at, then once you have done that you will easily have completed it. However many people have asked why as soon as they get to the entrance of the thief's hideout it does not let them in and it just says you lost him, try again tomorrow night. That is possible because he secretly and quietly turns and looks at you and spots you, or you are walking to close to him or too far and he has just ran off. So remember to back off a bit and leave some place or you will never get that far !!!! Hope this helps you all.
