If you have beaten the elite 4, go back through victory road, the cave that was blocked will now be open. A girl will ask you to take her through the cave. She has an arcanine. WARNING: You will want to scratch your eyes out after seeing "Arcanine used Helping Hand" so many times.

You can find arcanine in pearl by letting your growlithe evolve by using a fire stone and you can catch a growlithe in pearl by inserting pokemon fire red and you can obtain all at data
