Who Has The Most Tweets On Twitter?

According to Twitaholic.com (http://twitaholic.com/top100/updates/) the Twitter account that currently has the most tweets, or updates, is InternetRadio with 2,231,472.

This is followed by Market JP with 1,560, 782 and C:SI Second Life with 1,047,920. These top three Twitter accounts have been posting several tweets a minute for the past three or four years.

• Internet Radio

Internet Radio's Twitter account can be found at http://twitter.com/#!/InternetRadio. They describe themselves as a website that allows users to see what internet radio stations are playing as they play them. The website gives visitors the chance to join a huge network of people streaming internet radio and select radio stations to listen to from a variety of genres.

The 'What's Playing' option displays live feeds of all of the radio stations listed within the site and what songs they are playing. It is possible to organize the stations according to their popularity and genre.

• Market JP

The Market JP account appears to be a spam site. There is no information about the company and it does not give a link to a website. The tweets that have been posted, none of which have been posted since March 2008, are all links to news articles that are actually error pages.

• C:SI Second Life

This is a Twitter account that posts live updates from the C:SI combat system in Second Life. With no updates since November last year, the account now seems to be inactive. Before, tweets gave information about users fighting online in the virtual world Second Life.

Twitaholic.com also allows visitors to rank Twitter accounts according to their number of followers, the number of people they are following and when they joined the site. The Twitter account with the most followers is Lady Gaga, the account following the most people is Barack Obama and the person ranked as joining first is Jack Dorsey.
