How To Get To The 8th Gym On Pokemon Platinum?

Apparently, there are two possible answers to the question of how to get to the eighth gym on Pokemon platinum. The regular way is to first of all beat Giritina.

• After Beating Giritina

Once Giritina has been beaten, it should be possible to move on from Pastoria City until a group of houses, presumably Sunyshore City are reached.

There should be a stairway on the right, leading up to some sort of glass structure. This stairway, previously blocked by a man, should now be clear. Sunyshore Gym, the eighth gym, should be at the top.

• Cheats Way to Sunyshore Gym

It appears that there is another way to get to this gym. This involves pressing a sequence of specific buttons in a set of rooms and is detailed below.

• Room One

In the first room, it is necessary to press the green button on the right once, then the green button on the left is pressed once. This should take the user into the next room.

• Room Two

Here the bottom blue button has to be pressed three times. Following this, the stairs on the left should be used. After the stairs, the top blue button and the green button need to be pressed once each, in this order. This will lead into the third room.

• Room Three

In this next room, it is a case of pressing a red button on the right once, then pressing a red button on the left once, using the stairs on the left and then pressing the green button twice, followed by pressing the blue button just once.

This is followed by taking the stairs on the right, pressing the red button on the right once and again taking the stairs on the right. We have no confirmation, however, whether this actually works.
