How Do I Play Age Of Empires?

In AOE the most important is initial time before you advance to castle age for this the most important things are wood and food so first create man as much as you can never left your town center empty every  time it should create men   give work of collect food to first 5 person
now to men to collect the wood and now remaining to food till feudal age
  after advance in feudal age now give work to collect gold and two to stone and approsimatley
   10 more men to wood

Well, if you've got a PC you start with a Town Centre etc. Firstly click on the Town Centre and get some villagers, when you've got your villagers you give them something to do like get wood, get food, get stone and get gold. To make them do something left click to walk around and right click to make them do something.

Your villagers can also build things and do heaps more stuff.
