Ok.....this is what I did and it worked.1st:Have itunes up and ready ,next turn off your ipod touch,now while holding the menu button and plug in the usb cord.keep holding the home button and a picture will pop up,it should look like a usb cord and a computer, now look on you computer screen and a little message should pop up saying itunes has detected an ipod or something like that.click on it and it will have some stuff about the ipod ,(you can let go of the home button now)but click restore.Last it will say if your sure becuse all your stuff will delete and go to the factory settings click ok them a whole bunch of stuff will pop up and will load so leave it for a bit but after all that turn it on and it should work.(PS:it is normal that the screen will go back before it restores itself.
