The easiest and most popular way of making free calls via the internet is using Skype. The basic Skype account will allow you to make calls for free using your computer to anyone who is also a Skype user. Therefore, firstly you will have to sign up and also make sure the person you wish to talk to does the same, head to Skype.com and select download. This will take you to another page where you will be prompted to download Skype.
Then select download now for Windows or Mac. After you have selected download now you will be prompted again. Skypesetup.exe will pop up on your screen. You might need to adjust your cookie setting on your PC so the pop up comes up. You can set it to allow cookies under internet options (the privacy tab). Select save file and choose where you would like to save the file.
