I Have A LG LCD Tv Model #42LB1DR. After 5 Min It Will Lose Video And Audio. The Tv Stays On. If I Unplug It For A While It Will Work For About 5 Min And Then Do The Same Thing. Any Answers As To What Could Be Causing This?

I have the same model. Mine developed a problem where it would turn on, but then would not display anything or respond to commands. I found out from the service tech that there is a common power supply failure in these units, most likely caused by bad or under-rated electrolytic capacitors. Replacing the PS module fixed the problem.
