I have an hp laptop problem. Every program takes time to start until a certain time like 30 secs. Until that they wont start eg. VLC, youtube(it buffers but wont start). Can someone please help me?

When faced with the issue of a slow computer, I always start by downloading Malwarebytes. Install it and do a full system scan. You would amazed at the malware it'll find that can slow down your computer. Quarantine anything the program finds. After Malwarebytes, download and install Advanced System Care. Under the scan tab, select everything and run a full system scan. This will help to fix errors in your folders, registery, internet security, etc. It will also deframent your hard drive, which could also contribute to a slow device. Next, download and install AVG anti-virus and run a full system scan to be sure no viruses are messing up your system. Good luck!
