There have been some great releases for Xbox as of late. Fallout 4, Call of Duty Black Ops, Starwars Battlefront from EA, and Halo 5. A few slightly older games like Battlefield 4 or Battlefield Hardline may be great as well. I don't play to many racing games, though. For PC, I would highly recommend Arma 2 DayZ. It takes a little extra work to install but is well worth it. Good luck with your venture, my friend!

I don't know about X-Box games but maybe you could check out this site for PC games as they have all kinds of genre's. I should know as I work for them and know many of their games. Take a look through their lists. I'm sure there is something there he will like !

DO NOT GET STARWARS BATTLEFRONT. It's way overpriced, if you want an FPS game and you're willing to spend some money buy call of duty black ops 3 or fallout 4. Next car game is a good racing game if the person you are buying this for likes destroying things. Most of the need for speed games are also good racing games. If the person you are buying it for likes problem solving, then get portal 2. Hope this helps!
