I wouldnt think so. If you delete a text it is still there on the other person's phone, im guessing direct chat is the same.
If I delete a direct chat I had with someone will it be deleted on their phone as well?
No you need to have "off the record" on. And I mean from the start of what ever info you dont want him keeping.
