Even a video game character can be well written enough for the player to fall in love with or to identify with that character. Do you have a favorite character from a video game?

Right now, I'm playing through Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag so my choice would be Edward Kenway: Captain of the Jackdaw. Best of luck to you!

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood came right after Assassin's Creed 2. If you liked Edward Kenway then you'll love Ezio. He's by the far coolest Assassin in the serious excluding maybe Altiar from the first game.

Sweet. I found them all on Steam and was thinking of trying another AC game. I think I'll do Brotherhood after Black Flag. You've made my decision easy, lol.

It probably be better actually to play Assassin's Creed 2 or 1 first, then buy Brotherhood. Otherwise the story might not make as much sense, and if you start with the first two games you'll be more attached to Ezio by the time you get to Brotherhood or Revelations. (:

It's on PlayStation, there are several games in the series....Dante, the main character, hunts demons/devil, while being half demon himself, makes for some really cool battles, lots of guns, swords and abilities. Great games with great graphics!

The Nikola Tesla depicted in the video game The Order: 1886 doesn't really have a big role in the game itself, but he is one of my favourite characters! :3

It's pretty alright, in my opinion! It's very cinematic-like, visually appealing and such an immersive game, but it's kind of linear to a certain extent... About 8 hours of gameplay, I'd say... An interesting story (with a twist!) as well, that I quite enjoyed! 9.9/10

My point exactly! It's not that long. I finished half one night, and half the next night.... but it was worth it!

Well....since I play mostly WW2 strategy games I guess my two favorite people would be Admiral William " Bull " Halsey and General George S. Patton. They're not fictional but great to play them !

Non-fiction characters can make them even more likeable. Not to mention that you can read into who they were!

I like how some games give you the option to romance a NPC.

Dragon Age: Origins ... Romancing either Leliana or Morrigan.  Romancing Morrigan was more humorous, because the other female NPCs got "catty" about it.

Dragon Age2 ... Romancing either Merril (innocent elf) or Isabella (pirate captain).

Dragon Age: Inquisition ... Romancing Josephine was my favorite.
