With computers you reach a much broader clientele pool. The only think I can think of is in the review process. Competitors can put up false reviews to drive people away or companies can put up false reviews to make themselves look better. For me I toss out the top three and the bottom three reviews and go from there.
I would think it has more advantages, than not. The only one that might be an issue... It is not mobile. It might be better to use a tablet of some sort. A computer or laptop can take up space if you have to travel, and that could be a problem if you have to pack light.
