Poll: Which is better, Blurtit or Yahoo answers. In my opinion it is Blurtit, but remember each has their pros and cons.

I personally like Blurtit better  - its leaning more to the social media side then Yahoo Answers.

I really like this site a lot. I'm going with this one cause if you wanna have a private conversation with someone you can just leave them a message.

You are right - both Blurtit and Yahoo! Answers have their pros and cons. Neither site is perfect; infact, nothing is technically 'perfect'. So whatever answer I say, or others say, doesn't imply that the site they picked means that they think it's perfect compared to the other.

I'm going to have to go with Blurtit on this one. Yahoo! Answers has been around for quite a long while, and the community has slowly gotten bigger and bigger. With larger communities comes more people spewing out inappropriate and unpleasant remarks.

As with the picture, the larger a community gets, more kids may join in. These kids, specifically the immature ones that always cause arguments/type out inappropriate content, are what downgrade the rating of a community.

And because of this, not many people would view that community as being "good", per se. They might still have quite a bit of knowledge as a group, but if snarky remarks are being made by users, it just completely ruins it.

With Blurtit.com, there are several active admins (Which, one of them is me) that take care of the moderation of such content, filtering out the bad ones and preserving the good ones.

Any user that may post unwanted and unnecessary answers/questions, any user under 13, and any user promoting other websites will be blocked.

I'm not sure how well content on Yahoo! Answers is being moderated, but either way, Blurtit's content is well moderated and will be for quite a while!

Blurtit because it is more friendly and it does not need too much information to let you make an account. Plus you don't even have to make an account if you don't want to.

I prefer blurtit. Yahoo is good when I google something and there's already a Yahoo question on it, but there are way more trolls on Yahoo and you need to get a Yahoo email account to sign up. Blurtit is just as useful and the community is friendlier :)

Blurtit is so much better

Blurtit has lots of questions-I preffer Blurtit because you can look for topics, make your profile, chat, and fun stuff. And you get answers. Yes.  Blurtit's better.
