Well, you can run facebook page about arts and crafts and run it smoothly. Opening a page and running it would be a better option than creating a group. Because in groups, you might face a lot of problems while collecting members. So, creating a page would be a good option.

Here are some steps to run your Facebook page like a pro.

Pick a name

Picking a name is no trivial matter. Make sure that you pick a name that is consistent with what your customers know you by so that they’ll find you when running a search. But also keep naming conventions in mind. If you have multiple locations or divisions, you’ll want to remain consistent now and in the future.

Pick a vanity URL

If you want to easily promote your Facebook Page, you need a URL that is easy to put into emails and on fliers. You need a vanity URL.

Update your About section

A simple way to drive traffic to your website is to update the About section under your Cover Photo.

Optimize for Search Engines

Everyone knows that to be successful with a website, you need to optimize it for search engines. Yet, it seems no one considers it when building their Facebook Page.

So, connecting your Facebook page with your website would be a very good option. You might also use links to your website to drive traffic to your mage.

Design a Strategy

You need a strategy. What is your tone? What are your goals? Who will manage the Page? Do you want to increase brand awareness? Increase in sales? Subscriptions? You’ve gotta sort these things out before you get started.

Create a Content Calendar

Set expectations by creating a schedule. Make a list of your assets and planned content. Then start mapping out themes per day of the week, who will be posting, what they’ll be posting about and at what time.

Promote Your Page

  • Invite friends and family who have an interest in your brand
  • Invite current customers
  • Add a Facebook Like box to your website.
  • Add an option to review your products and contents. Facebook reviews are very important and it will create your facebook page more visible and trustworthy.
  • You can buy facebook likes to kick-start your page quickly.
  • You can buy facebook reviews to make your products appearance better in front of your customer. One of the most
trusted website to buy facebook review is promoting team.

If you want to share your art and craft ideas on Facebook, I would recommend creating a group for this. On Facebook, it says that a group is for 'members to discuss and share with each other', and by the sounds of it, that's what you want to do! So we've figured out whether it should be a page or a group, now let's decide what category it should go in:

1. When you first go to create the group, you're only asked to put in the name of the group, so you could call it something like this:

Then you can add members who you think will be interested, and you could even ask them to add their own members if they know anyone that would be interested in your group. Making it an open group should get you more members, but you might want to be aware of trollers etc. - you could change the settings so posts have to be approved by the admin.

2. Here is where we get to deciding what category you should put the group in. Unlike pages, you don't really have to specify a category, but you can choose an icon to give a quick idea of what your group is regarding. I chose the paint tray, because I thought that would represent it best:

3. Once you've done that, you're pretty much ready to go! You can personalise your art and craft group with a cover photo and a description and then you can start posting photos, videos, files and asking questions all to do with your art and craft ideas!

Hope your group goes well and you get a lot of members. Good luck!
