I have my own ecommerce website. I built it using a website building software and shopping cart software. Do your research to see what works for you. Try shopify, godaddy or wix.

it depends on the kind of website you want to create. For example, if you want to create a blog, the best platforms are Wordpress and Blogger (these are the ones I use). They are easy to manage and customize. You can add plug-ins and many features that will make it unique. I'd suggest those if you are about to get started.

Html (hypertext markup language) is used to describe the structure of web pages - it tells the browser how to display a page.
For example, in order to put an image on a page, you'd use an image tag:

I've tried making my own website before didn't go so well. But I used Weebly.com. You can go to a You Tube tourtial for it and it will show you step by step on how to use it.
