I have been trying to get Netflix running on a Rasberry Pi.
Yes, there are Netflix XMBC tutorials out there that might help you get Netflix running on your Raspberry Pi, here's some info I have found out:
The main challenges on getting Netflix on a Raspberry Pi are:
- Silverlight
- DRM
This is documented in the blog post the XBMC Flicks addon.
As far as I know, noone has managed to successfully stream Netflix directly on to a Raspberry Pi or a Raspbmc.
Why? Netflix and Linux don't mix! And this isn't an accident... It is not supported on purpose. Remember, we are talking about rival platform here.
I have seen some "creative" hacks which involve Windows emulation, but that seems a) complicated b) unlikely to work.
As far as I have found, the Android Pi seems to be the most stable solution, and even that is a stretch at best.
